Symmetry and Softness in Harmony
Our goal with this project was to strike the perfect balance between symmetry and softness. The design incorporates soft arches, gentle curves, and a meticulously balanced layout. The stone facade , a thick Oklahoma flagstone named “ Ozark ,” adds a touch of rustic elegance.
We chose a dry stack pattern for the vertical surfaces, creating a seamless look that exudes timeless beauty. The sides of the custom chimney and o utdoor pizza oven feature a buff-colored mortar, adding depth and contrast to the design.
Intricate Stone Selections
Keywords: Stone Veneer, Thin Flag Feather, Backsplash, Pennsylvania Bluestone, Tennessee Crab Orchard
For the countertop, we opted for a thick Pennsylvania Bluestone , a material known for its durability and classic beauty. What makes this project truly unique is the intricate “ thin flag feather ” insets and backsplash made from a Tennessee thin flagstone veneer known as “ Crab Orchard (gray ) .”
Each piece of this veneer was painstakingly cut and installed in a dry stack pattern. The result is not only visually stunning but also a testament to our dedication to quality and craftsmanship.
The Perfect Outdoor Kitchen
The centerpiece of this outdoor living masterpiece is the impressive chimney, standing at approximately 12 feet in height, and an outdoor pizza oven reaching about 9 feet. These structures are designed not just for aesthetics but for functionality.
In the space between the chimney and the pizza oven , you’ll find room for a Green Egg , sink, refrigerator, grill, and cabinets. We’ve thought of every detail to ensure your outdoor kitchen experience is nothing short of perfection.
Low voltage night lighting has been incorporated into the backsplash, enhancing both the visual appeal and the practicality of the space. For the pizza oven, we recommend a clean-burning wood, and for this project, European White Birch is at the ready.
